Chris A. Romano, B.S.

Scientific Program Manager

Chris Romano joins ImmuneRegen from the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Research Center to provide engineering, technical, and program management support. Mr. Romano graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Bioengineering and an emphasis in molecular, cellular, and tissue engineering. Mr. Romano’s research at ASU focused primarily on novel biodegradable drug delivery devices, with an emphasis on growth factor-delivering polymers. He was awarded third place in his class for his Capstone project: A Biodegradable Polymer Infused with TGF-β1 for Delivery to Defected Articular Cartilage. Currently, Mr. Romano’s focus is centered on developing the wound healing and tissue regenerative capacity of ImmuneRegen’s lead drug candidate, Homspera®.
